“Ballerina” is a unique acrylic painting on canvas, depicting a beautiful ballerina with dark long hair in a white suit.

The painting “Ballerina” has a subdued background with elements of an old film. It presents a dancing beautiful ballerina. Deeply thought out colors, subdued but joyful in reception, elegant form, expressive, mysterious but positively energetic.

Painted by a painter with a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts, by applying different layers of acrylic paint with a brush and a painting spatula.

Edgard Degas

Edgar Degas (1834 –1917) was a French artist famous for his paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings. He is especially recognizable with the subject of dance, as more than half of his works depict dancers. He was a great draftsman. Particularly masterly in depicting movement – rendition of dancers, racecourse subjects and female nudes. Furthermore, he is regarded as one of the founders of Impressionism, although he rejected the term, preferring to be called a realist.
